About the house
A small desk beside the salons of Tan Binh
The official registered business name is File Grovepath Company Limited. The company was established in 2017, first as a two-person desk that helped neighbourhood hair rooms make sense of paper diaries after Tet. The name File Grovepath comes from the filing cabinets we still keep for client menus and annotated photocopies — a grove of folders, a path through the weeks.
Early work stayed on Nui Thanh Street: owners walked over with stained appointment books. From 2019 we began visiting facial rooms and nail studios across Tan Binh and Phu Nhuan, always returning originals the same day. The offer grew from occupancy sketches into retention cycles when receptionists asked for a card they could keep after a first facial.
We remain a human briefing practice. Charts are drawn from the pages you already keep. Vietnam’s salon calendar — Tet rush, school-exam quiet, rainy-season facials — sits at the centre of seasonal snapshots.
People you may meet
Lan Pham leads diary reviews and still prefers graphite annotations over coloured highlighters. Khoa Nguyen prepares treatment-mix booklets and attends staff-room briefings after last appointment. Reception at 14 Nui Thanh answers the phone listed in the footer.
How we work with a room
We ask for permission before photographing a page. We sit with the person who actually writes the book. Values are ordinary: return the diary, name treatments honestly, and leave a pack a new receptionist can photocopy.
